Overview

There are certain items, weapons or creatures in-game that can use special calls. These calls are used during combat, and cannot be ignored.

Only one combat call may be made at a time by a single person, excluding the call mass, which appears preceding another call.

Call List

Single

This call signifies a single point of damage has been dealt. It is not required to call this for every strike, but you may wish to call single to emphasize that you landed a hit. (An example would be if you had a regular gun in one hand that called single, and another gun in the other that called double).

Double

This call signifies that two points of damage have been dealt. Note that, if you have 1 hit point left, and take a double, you simply go down as normal.

Critical

This call signifies that you have lost all your hits and are immediately downed.

Ravage

This call signifies that you have lost all your hits and are immediately downed. After the battle, tell the ref you were hit with a ravage round. This reduces your bead pull to a one in four chance, instead of the usual one in twelve. (This is one in four regardless of whether or not you were staunched).

Stun

This call means your character cannot move from the spot for 10 seconds, and cannot take any offensive or defensive action while stunned. You may roleplay being stunned, so long as you adhere to the aforementioned.

Entangle

This call means your character cannot move their feet, or any other body part touching the ground for 10 seconds. You may still take offensive or defensive action, and you may roleplay being stunned, so long as you adhere to the aforementioned.

Suppressing Fire

This call means your character must take cover while a weapon calling suppressing fire unloads. You may not come out of cover until the weapon stops firing. If your weapon calls suppressing fire, call it at the start, and you must empty the remainder of your magazine or belt in one go.

Resist

If you have a piece of armour, or an upgrade that allows you to take a call and not be affected by it, you must call resist after that particular call has been used on you. You must not ignore the call and make no response, as this could be seen as cheating, or foul play.

Mass

This call means that everyone in an area is affected by the call used after mass. If coming from a grenade, the area is considered 3 metres. Otherwise, check with the refs beforehand as to the area.
