01 Point

Allows the use of Crude components to craft augments.

02 Points

Allows the use of the Appraise(level 1) skill to analyse components or biotech related aspects to find their purpose.

03 Points

Allows the use of Worn components to craft augments. You may also use the Diagnose(level 1) skill on anything biotech related (enemies/mutants etc).

04 Points

Allows the use of Appraise(level 2). You now have a small chance of recovering a component when you craft using a recipe. You have a small chance of recovering a Quickstim when you fail a craft.

05 Points

Allows the use of Standard Issue components to craft augments.

06 Points

Allows the use of Diagnose(level 2). You now have a chance of crafting a random stim per downtime.

07 Points

Allows the use of Prototype components to craft augments.

08 Points

Allows the use of Appraise(level 3). You may now perform surgeries on participants using surgery upgrades unassisted.

09 Points

Allows the use of Diagnose(level 3). Also allows the crafting of hidden tech tree recipes. Experimentation is the only way of discovery.
